I Samuel 13-15

Last night in class we watched Saul's son Jonathan pick a fight with the Philistines . . . twice!

We also watching Saul make some really stupid decisions, the last of which caused God to withdraw His support and seek out a "man after His own heart."

I had maps with all of the cities, forts, valleys etc. marked so everyone could follow the battle strategies of both sides.

I also made a couple of pertinent family trees so we could see why Saul was stuck with his cousin, Abner, for his Army's commander, who Saul's wife was related to.

Now, Samuel isn't speaking to Saul; God isn't speaking to Saul;  Saul is still King of Isreal and the Philistines (who have monopolized all of the iron weapons and chariots) are regrouping for another attack.

Whew! What's going to happen next?
